Wooden Packaging Materials

The requirement for ISPM15 wood marking is that the timber needs to be heat treated. The requirement is known as 56/30 which means that the timber needs to be heated to at least 56C for a minimum of 30 minutes to eradicate the risk of pest infestation or disease.

We use kiln dried wood so that the wood is dry and therefore lighter for transportation and is not necessarily vulnerable to shrinking. This adds to the quality of the product we manufacture so it is compliant for ISPM15 purposes and retains its dimensional integrity.
